You bring ideas to life

At CREON, we design and build control rooms where calm, overview and continuity are essential, even when pressure is at its highest. Think emergency control rooms, high-end control rooms for logistics, defence, ports and energy.

As a Project Engineer, you make sure that a good idea is executed properly in practice. You safeguard technical feasibility, maintain oversight and ensure everything fits together: from the first design to final delivery. Your work directly impacts workspaces that are critical on a daily basis.

Why work as a Project Engineer at CREON?

Flexible working hours and the option to work partly from home
A solid pension plan, because you want things well arranged for later, too
A company laptop and business phone arrangement
Training and education tailored to your ambitions
Informal get-togethers, team events and an annual profit-sharing bonus
Working in a close-knit team with strong expertise, short lines and down-to-earth humour
Daily fresh fruit, sports discounts and participation in our bike scheme
An ergonomic (home) workspace, including sit-stand desk, monitor(s) and office chair

The role in practice

  • Creating approval drawings and final project documentation

  • Acting as the point of contact for technical questions and changes

  • Actively contributing ideas for smart and sustainable design solutions

  • Managing all project documentation within our ERP system

You are also responsible for solid project preparation:

  • Monitoring deadlines, detailed planning and progress

  • Processing updates in project planning

  • Reviewing and approving purchase invoices

  • Maintaining financial control, including evaluations and post-calculations

What you bring with you

You are a professional who takes ownership of their work. You maintain oversight, set priorities and ensure projects are sound both technically and organisationally.

  • HBO-level thinking and working ability (e.g. Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering)

  • Experience with or knowledge of SolidWorks, AFAS and MS Office

  • Insight into production techniques and sheet metal processing is a plus

  • You communicate comfortably in both Dutch and English

  • You work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented way
