Take the lead behind the scenes

As a Service Coordinator, you ensure that service requests, incidents and questions are handled carefully and professionally. You maintain overview, coordinate actions and make sure customers know exactly where they stand. Your impact is felt every day, often behind the scenes but always essential.

The role in practice

In this role, you are the link between customers and the technical team. You combine structure with communication and ensure that every service interaction runs smoothly from first contact through to completion.

This includes

  • Manage the service inbox and handle phone contact with customers in case of incidents

  • Plan service visits and arrange access to customer locations

  • Collect all required system and site information in advance

  • Coordinate the approach with sales and other colleagues

  • Complete administrative follow up after service visits, from work orders to invoicing

  • Identify recurring issues and share insights with design and engineering teams

You also take the lead in complaint handling:

  • Register complaints and prepare clear reports

  • Investigate root causes together with colleagues from sales, operations and design

  • Propose improvement actions based on findings

  • Keep customers informed throughout the process and ensure accurate documentation

What you bring with you

You take responsibility, enjoy keeping an overview and feel comfortable in a role that involves coordination and communication.

  • Completed vocational education, for example in electrical or mechanical engineering

  • Affinity with technology and technical systems

  • Strong command of Dutch and sufficient proficiency in English

  • Comfortable working with MS Office and strong organisational skills

  • Available for at least 32 hours per week

  • Proactive, results driven and communicatively strong
