Ergonomics play a crucial role in the interior layout and furniture fittings of a 24/7 workplace. These workspaces need to be geared as much as possible towards the people working there. We are familiar with the ins and outs of the standards and guidelines relating to workspaces with monitors in a 24/7 work environment.
We use a 3D computer model to give us a head start in determining the visibility lines, the screen focal lengths and reach zones for both the individual workspace as well as the actual space in the room itself. We can even use a VR model if appropriate.
An extensive assessment of ergonomics can also be included in the design process for the best solution for your workplace and working environment.
We work closely with external ergonomics consultants. They provide assistance with function and task analysis, designing of Human Machine Interfaces and improving work processes.
