Clarity, comfort and flexibility
James Hardie
The existing control room at James Hardie’s production facility in Niftrik underwent a major upgrade. CREON developed an integrated design bringing together ergonomics, technology and spatial layout. Three SPLIT workstations, a video wall and custom-made interiors created a calm and flexible working environment for the operators monitoring the production process 24/7.

The control room as the operational heart
SNB
The control room is the operational heart of SNB in Moerdijk. After more than 25 years, the environment was ready for an upgrade. Working closely with operators, the new design was tailored to intensive 24/7 use. Four adjustable SPLIT workstations, personal video walls, custom-made elements and acoustic solutions provide greater flexibility and overview.

Modernization of the Fontys dispatch room
Fontys dispatch room
As the Fontys campus grew, so did the responsibilities of its dispatch centre. CREON worked with users to analyse their tasks and requirements and recommended relocating the centre to a larger space. The new environment features two SPLIT workstations, large displays, custom-made interiors and acoustic solutions, creating a workplace designed around day-to-day security operations.

Ergonomic and efficient control room for EP NL Sloe Centrale
EP NL Sloe Centrale bv
From its central control room, the Operations team at EP NL Sloe Centrale monitors energy production around the clock. CREON supplied modular SPLIT workstations and a video wall for this 24/7 environment. Ergonomics and efficient support for day-to-day operations were central to a workplace where operators continuously monitor the production process.

Safety on the beach
Reddingsbrigade Kennemerland Zandvoort
From its new rescue station on Zandvoort’s south beach, the rescue brigade communicates with lifeguards, vehicles, boats and other emergency services. Calls from beach visitors and local businesses are also handled here. CREON equipped the dispatch centre with a SPLIT workstation, supporting the central role of communication and coordination within the rescue station.

Sitech
At Chemelot, Sitech Fire Brigade & Security supports safety across a large chemical industrial complex. Its working environment needs to support fire and security operations around the clock. CREON supplied a SPLIT workstation and developed 2D and 3D design proposals, as well as providing on-site assembly and installation.

Modern control room of Amsterdam UMC
Amsterdam UMC
The control room at Amsterdam UMC is used to centrally monitor and control the hospital’s technical systems. As part of its modernisation, CREON supplied two TITAN 24/7 workstations on behalf of main contractor INTER. The new workstations support the employees responsible for monitoring the technical infrastructure that keeps the hospital operating.

Aurorium
Even a relatively small production facility can involve complex process monitoring. At Aurorium’s Chemelot site, CREON provided a SPLIT workstation, LIGHT workstation and custom-made interiors. Acoustic solutions, design and installation were also included, with attention to creating a calm and organised environment for monitoring the production process.

EUROCONTROL
At EUROCONTROL’s Network Manager Operations Centre in Brussels, operators monitor air traffic flows to, from and across Europe. The new operations room includes 121 ergonomic workstations and an integrated visualisation and collaboration solution. Working alongside Whitemilk and Barco, CREON supplied SPLIT workstations, 24/7 chairs, workstation lighting and acoustic solutions.

Police zone VLAS
The dispatch centre of Police Zone VLAS is the operational heart of the police zone, 24/7. Dispatchers process large volumes of information to support police teams in the field. For the renewed environment, CREON supplied TITAN workstations, monitor solutions, 24/7 chairs, lighting and custom-made interiors, aligned with the centre’s technology.

The security lodge of the World Trade Center Amsterdam
WTC Amsterdam
The security lodge monitors the publicly accessible areas of WTC Amsterdam. CREON supplied two SPLIT sit-stand workstations with large displays, complemented by lighting and custom-made storage for communication equipment. Both workstations provide a clear view of the video wall with security footage and can be adjusted to suit individual users.

Bridge, lock and overland traffic
Rozenburgsesluis, Port of Rotterdam
Shipping, road traffic and technology come together at Rozenburgsesluis. CREON replaced the existing operating desk with a SPLIT workstation incorporating the control panel centrally into the design. Five monitors and a video wall provide the lock operator with essential information and camera feeds, while ergonomics, sightlines and technical connections were key considerations in the design.

A unique collaboration of multiple disciplines under one roof
OCCR
At the Operational Control Center Rail, different railway organisations work together to prevent or minimise disruption. For its renewal, CREON developed a workstation specifically for this dynamic 24/7 environment in collaboration with users. A total of 100 workstations were delivered for the main location and another 20 for the fallback location, complemented by acoustic solutions.

The future of electricity
TU Delft
TU Delft’s Control Room of the Future researches intelligent, resilient and cyber-secure electricity networks. CREON equipped this research environment with TITAN workstations, 24/7 chairs and custom-made furniture for technical equipment. The living lab provides a control room environment in which new technologies for the electricity grid can be researched and tested.

At the Schiphol Airport Operations Center, multiple stakeholders work closely together to monitor, plan and manage airport operations. CREON supplied TITAN workstations for operators in this 24/7 environment and provided design and installation services. The workstations support collaboration in an environment where a wide range of operational information comes together.

Renewal of dispatching for Antwerp Fire Brigade
Antwerp Fire Brigade
The Antwerp Fire Brigade dispatch centre operates around the clock as the central hub for the fire zone. Interventions are dispatched here and emergency vehicles receive essential information while on the move. For the renewed centre, CREON supplied TITAN workstations, 24/7 chairs and accessories and provided design, furnishing and installation services.

New SPLIT workstations for Hasselt Fire Department
Zonal 112 dispatch Hasselt Fire Department
Zonal dispatching for the South-West Limburg emergency response zone takes place from the 112 dispatch centre in Hasselt. For the new facility, CREON supplied SPLIT workstations and contributed to the design and furnishing of the centre. Lighting and acoustics were also incorporated, bringing different elements of the working environment together.

Traffic centre PEREX
From the PEREX Traffic Centre in Daussoulx, several organisations monitor and manage traffic on Wallonia’s main roads and waterways. CREON installed 35 SPLIT workstations and two work islands with integrated storage. The environment supports traffic operators, police and other professionals as they exchange, assess and act on operational information.

The new LMS standard
112 Dispatch & Service Center Limburg
The Limburg North and Limburg South dispatch centres were brought together in the 112 Dispatch & Service Centre Limburg in Maastricht. Ambulance services, the fire brigade, police and Royal Netherlands Marechaussee now work under one roof. CREON supplied SPLIT workstations and custom-made interiors and provided design, furnishing and installation services for the shared dispatch centre.

Eyes on the road
Ministerie van Rijkswaterstaat
Rijkswaterstaat’s Traffic Centre Zuid-Nederland monitors the main road network across Zeeland, Noord-Brabant and Limburg. CREON developed a standard workstation for road traffic operators for use in the upgrade of five Dutch traffic centres. The workstation combines an adjustable work surface and video wall, which can be electrically height-adjusted independently of each other.
