General

CREON is the specialist in control rooms. We take care of the entire process. From advice, design and project management to the physical furnishing of the space. Everything to ensure that dispatchers and operators can perform to the best of their abilities in complex, demanding work environments. Our projects meet the highest requirements in the fields of ergonomics, design, technology and functionality. We design and develop our own products. Cooperating with renowned, specialised suppliers we arrive at the best solutions so we can guarantee the highest quality.

When composing a 24/7 workstation we take various ergonomic and functional aspects that have to meet pre-ordained requirements and standards into account. The systems on and in the workstation have to be operational 24/7. If so desired, we can ensure that interaction with the surroundings and other users in the working environment is possible. When furnishing the workstation we also take the correct sitting posture, meeting and storage options, as well as day/night lighting into account. We also keep the workstation’s layout in mind, because we believe people perform better in a beautiful environment.

To be able to optimally furnish a workstation we need quite a bit of information. Not just the dimensions of the space are important. Routing, the positioning of doors and windows, the number of staff, the work processes, etc. are all incorporated into the furnishing of a 24/7 workstation. We have drawn up a handy checklist to collect the necessary information which prevents us from overlooking anything.

Furnishing a dispatch or control room is not most people’s daily work. It is ours. For the past 25 years, we have accumulated a lot of knowledge and experience. We will act as your guides through the plethora of options for creating the optimum work environment. We are easy to work with: we are committed, innovative and we provide the best products. Our trade specialists have an eye for detail, co-conceptualise, arrive at surprising solutions and do what they promise. We don’t just focus on technology and functionality, appearance is also important. We translate all these aspects into an ergonomic, constructive solution. All the above makes us a reliable partner.

Quality

CREON guarantees 99% workstation availability. This means our products have virtually no malfunctions. Furthermore, they have a 10-year minimum lifespan. We also provide a variety of maintenance contracts so we can continue to guarantee the quality of the products supplied.

To manufacture the desks, we only use sustainable, easy to maintain materials such as steel (approx. 80%), solid-core HPL (approx. 13%), aluminium (approx. 5%) and plastic (approx. 2%). We apply proven technology in the design of our solutions. The materials are easy to separate using hand tools (Allen key, screwdriver), should the dispatch tables be recycled. We are conscious of our ecological footprint. The materials employed are 85% recyclable. We use sustainable materials and locally manufactured parts. Our products are innovative and exude professionalism; 100% Dutch Design.

We have the highest quality requirements for the products we supply. These are in line with the ISO 9001 and VCA* standards. Because we always want to be the best.

Service, maintenance and guarantee

To adjust the height of your work surface and/or the distance to your monitors, our monitors are equipped with an electric adjustment system. There is a user manual under the desk which explains how to operate the system. If you cannot/can no longer find the user manual please email us: service@creon.nl, so we can send you the manual digitally.

In line with the NEN 3140 standard, the electric adjustment system must be inspected periodically. CREON offers different Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to this end. The maintenance contracts include response times and how often preventative servicing takes place.

A clean workstation is a pleasant workstation. It is important to clean the latter regularly. The desks’ height adjustment systems are maintenance free. Any common, environmentally-friendly cleaning agents will suffice to clean the work surface.

The workstation may not be used to lift people. After all, the electric adjustment system is only intended to adjust the work surface and/or monitors to various working positions. This prevents accidents and unnecessary wear and tear on the electric parts.

Because we are 100% convinced of our products’ quality, we provide a 5-year guarantee covering manufacturing mistakes and premature wear and tear to our workstations and a 3-year guarantee on our chairs. The guarantees include the free replacement of parts and the repair of defects that may develop under normal use. CREON’s guarantee and repair conditions apply.

Because we assume our products will last longer we also guarantee that the parts our products consist of will remain available for a 10-year period after the workstation’s delivery. This applies to both the manufactured parts and the standard COS parts. In the event a standard parts supplier can no longer supply a part, we will utilise an equally good alternative with the same functionality, which can be installed at no extra cost.

Error reports for the work surface’s adjustment

The electric adjustment system’s height is unknown and should be reset.

An invalid key combination has been entered. Only press one key at a time.

The electric adjustment system has noticed overload during upward motion. Ensure there is less weight on the work surface.

The electric adjustment system has noticed overload during downward motion. Check whether there is something under the desk hampering downward motion.

The workstation’s safety system has been activated. Check whether there is something under the desk hampering downward motion.

The power is probably off. Check whether the electric adjustment system’s power supply has been connected properly.

Briefly release the electric adjustment system’s button. Wait a few moments, then hold down the button until the work surface starts to go down. The electric adjustment system now needs to be reset.

Lower the work surface using the electric adjustment system. Hold the button down until the adjustment system starts moving and goes all the way down to its lowest position. Hold the control system down for another approx. 20 seconds after the work surface has reached the lowest position. The electric adjustment system will move down approx. 0.5 cm and then back again. The system has now been reset.

If the above instructions don’t have the desired results or you have a different problem with your workstation you should contact CREON for support by calling: +31 (0)13 545 12 86 or emailing: service@creon.nl. Delivery

We can only provide an indication of the expected time to delivery after approval of the definitive design for the work environment. We harmonise this in detail with our partners and suppliers. Naturally, the delivery time is also partly dependent on the project’s scope.

We have five technicians. They all hold a complete VCA certificate (Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Checklist Contractors), an Emergency Responder or BHV diploma and they all have the right paperwork to be admitted to critical environments.

Over the past 25 years, CREON has accrued ample international experience. Our knowledge means we can also supply products to other countries.

Purchase process

We employ our own designers. They know how to translate the client’s wishes into a suitable interior plan. We visualise this plan as a 2D, 3D or VR presentation. Furthermore, we can also organise interactive (online) design sessions during which we can immediately modify the interior plan to suit your wishes. Specific designs can be presented as a mock-up.

Take a stroll around your new work environment using Virtual Reality (VR) headset to get a good impression of the final experience.
